At Gifted Toys, we understand some of the challenges involved in raising children who are Gifted & Talented. These challenges are an every day occurrence for home and at school.
We created this site as one way of addressing these challenges, because your gifted child needs access to challenging, meaningful and inspiring toys, games, puzzles, books and everything else in between. Gifted children typically learn very quickly and move through the developmental stages rapidly, and this includes learning about their favourite topic.
Your gifted child's passion is our passion too, and so we have designed our site to cater to the many wonderful interests that absorb your child's thinking. Browse through our categories to find what it is your child is passionate about.
Another way we wish to help you with the amazing job you have in guiding your child through their life, is through our very talented Gifted Professional - a teacher of many years, trained in Gifted & Talented education, with her own gifted children and family members to keep her on her toes. You can contact our professional to ask for guidance, share a story or to find out which product would suit your child's level. Send an email to info@giftedtoys.com.au or contact her through the Contact Us page on our site.
We hope that we are able to help you nurture their passions, and challenge their minds!
"My 16 month old speaks quite well and can recognise many letters and numbers already
. What sort of activities would you recommend?" There are lots of things which you can do incidentally such as pointing out letters or numbers in signs or on letter boxes. You can also develop this interest with simple games and activities. Take a look at the Gifted Baby and Toddler section for some great ideas or take a look at our new Gifted Baby Pack which has a fabulous selection of toys suitable for your baby.
Why not take a look at our book section? There are many good books about issues in raising a gifted child.
